Welcome to the farm!

The Alvord Farm and Museum, owned by Willa and John Alvord, is a 25 acre homestead and working farm. The museum is a rustic barn with three rooms packed with natural history specimens and activities for kids. We offer school tours, afterschool enrichment programs, Saturday playshops, and school-out days on a by-appointment basis. Our programs are free! In order to keep them free, we accept donations and are run exclusively by hard-working volunteers who give their time, talent, and materials to create a fantastic learning environment for kids.
