Glorious Gastropods Playshop on September 26th! Sign Up Now!
DID YOU KNOW that the smallest slug in the world lives in Oregon? How small, you ask?
You'll have to join us as we celebrate slimy, slithery, so-cool slugs and snails to find out the answer to that and other fun slug factoids! The SLUG QUEEN of Eugene will be hosting this fun day, including taking a walk to look for slugs, making slug queen crowns of our own and a sluggy coloring sheet. Our friend John Applegarth of the Oregon Herp Society will share some fun facts about gastropods, and we will see some up close. Ask the SLUG QUEEN what it's like to be so slimy, and get your picture taken with her. And if it's rainy don't forget to wear your rainboots! Pre-registration only , so call Karen at 968-1986 to register for this free, fun day!

Little House on the Prairie Summer Camp was Amazing!

Thanks to all the great kids and volunteers who made the first ever Little House on the Prairie Summer Camp such a success! We churned butter, ground wheat, collected eggs, scrubbed clothes, wrote on slates, felted wool, played games, brushed the pony, made jam....Whew! the list keeps on going! We are definitely going to have to offer this camp again next year, and signups will begin in Spring, so keep watch!
