Details about Museum Tours

All children and adults that are visiting the museum must have a signed liability waiver which is available here as a downloadable pdf. Also please review with your students our downloadable Safety Policies Sheet.

Our school tours are free, but we do gladly accept donations to help us offset the costs of bringing you an amazing experience!

Liability release:
When you book your tour, you will be sent a packet of information that will include a liability release waiver and safety policies for each child's parent to sign and return to us. Children who do not have this form signed will not be permitted to attend the museum.

School Buses:
The museum has a circular driveway so that school buses may easily pull in and turn around to go back out.

Dogs:
There is a friendly dog named Harmony who lives at the museum. Children should be aware of this before they come, and please make special arrangements for any child who is uncomfortable around dogs.

Parking:
There is limited parking for cars at the museum, and before your visit you should let us know how many cars you will need to park on site. The walk to the museum is not far from the parking area.

Inclement Weather:
For safety reasons (big trees), we cannot have visitors at the museum during high winds, and we may need to reschedule your visit if high winds are expected.

Amenities:
The bathrooms at the museum are port-a-potty type and there is no drinking water available. Visitors should plan to bring a water bottle. There is a hand washing station. There is no land line telephone at the museum itself, though the tour guide will have a cell phone. Please bring your own phone if neccesary.
