Children's Educational Programs
We are excited to offer field trips to the Farm and Museum for either a school group or your private group. Great for homeschoolers or scout groups! We have themed tours or can put together one specially designed for your group. Themed tours include:
Tour Details and liability waiver
On occasional Saturdays we offer a free "playshop" with a particular focus, designed for kids and their parents. A knowledgeable volunteer or expert leads us in exploratory learning activities, and the result is usually a project that benefits the museum, such as a butterfly garden or new display item. These playshops are free and require pre-registration. Please bring your own sack lunch and drink, and dress for the weather. Previous topics have included: Kalapuya Food Day, Monarch Butterfly Day, and Baby Farm Animals. Check our calendar for listings.
